The Make Happy Club box #23 (warning contains spoilers)
Hello stitching pals!
This month's Make Happy Club project is a very serene embroidery design that we will be stitching using variegated thread. This is thread that changes colour as you stitch!
There is lots of texture in this piece particularly on the whale itself and we'll be learning back stitch, french knots and satin stitch!
So have a look, and sign up by the 20th of March if this is for you!
We will be using pre-printed cotton fabric so there will be no need for any tracing - just pop the fabric into your hoop and go!
The embroidery thread is magical variegated DMC so it's high quality, colour changing, buttery soft and easily divisible into separate strands!
The design like always will include everything you need to complete this kit in the box. Once stitched you will be able to hang up your design in its hoop to grace your walls as a piece of lovely home décor or gift to a friend.
We will be donating £3 from every Make Happy Club box sold in March to Mind via the Work for Good platform.
They are a wonderful Mental health charity who encourage and support vital conversations about mental health. They are a vital resource to so many people.
If you choose to subscribe this month then you will be actively helping them to continue their important work.
Whilst also stitching something that will make you feel good too! You can find out more about Mind here: https://www.mind.org.uk/ And if you would like to learn more about Work for Good click here: https://workforgood.co.uk/
