Beginners Embroidery Workshop 23rd November 2019
Embroidery is a beautiful and relaxing craft that you can use to create all sorts of wonderful things with. The best thing is that it’s also surprisingly a lot easier to do than it looks!
What you will be making
During the workshop we will teach you all of the embroidery basics (satin stitch, French knots and back stitch) and we will get you started on a new embroidery project.
You will be stitching up one of our ritual embroidery designs (please choose your colour preference when purchasing this ticket) it’s the perfect design for beginners because the abstract pattern means that you can easily hide any little mistakes that you might make whilst learning this new skill!
Who is this workshop for?
Whether you are a new beginner who knows nothing about embroidery or if you are a keen stitcher who is struggling to get to grips with those tricky french knots, or an experienced stitcher who just wants to meet some like minded craft loving friends. Come and join us for this lovely relaxing embroidery workshop any ability is welcome!
Please note you may not finish your item during the class, but you will have learnt all the skills you need to be able to continue your embroidery at home. You will get to take home your new embroidery project, plus all the materials needed to complete your project, and a handy cotton tote bag to carry it all in!
